My name is Sheryl Arndt and I am a Home Loan Consultant with Premier 1st Choice Mortgage.
I grew up in a semi-rural area outside of Lansing, Michigan with my two "little brothers" who aren't so little anymore. My parents are still married and still living in that same house. I visit about once or twice a year and when I go there, I like to see some water. Even though I'm a vegetarian and won't eat it, I do like to go fishing in a boat on a lake.
I graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminal Justice. I have previously worked as a Child Support Enforcement Worker, a Probation Officer, a Retirement Consultant, Financial Consultant and a few other things along the way. I guess you could say that I'm well versed in working with all types of people and all types of financial situations.
Because it is my personal mission to continually improve my own self, I treat people with respect and kindness. Regardless of your situation in life or your credit, I am patient, kind, non-judgmental, communicative, an extremely dilligent worker and very friendly and fun to work with. I return phone calls and specialize in closing loans and helping people get (or keep) the house they want!
Like all good things that have happened to me (including moving to New Mexico in 2003), I fell into the mortgage business by "accident" in 2004 when a friend who was working a local mortgage company encouraged me to give it a try. I had been working as a Financial Consultant and a few other things previously and going through one of those times in my life when I didn't know what I wanted to do when I grew up. I was pretty beaten up by life at the time, but figured I would give the business 6 months. Well....as you can see, the rest is history!
